As Monday's go, mine was going really well. I had even updated my Facebook status to say "Bobby is having a great day!" Why was this Monday such an awesome day. Life is all about how you view it, and I made a conscious decision to don my "rose colored glasses" and make it a great day. Plus, the fact that Brad and I had completed our mission to build a TV studio provided a dose of satisfaction. Why build a TV studio? To stream live video webinars like our Blogging BootCamp, a Social Media BootCamp (in the planning stages) as well as some FREE live streaming real estate marketing webinars. Life was (and is) GOOD!
Little did I know Brad's invitation to grab some lunch and go with him to the post office to process his passport request would take a really cool twist. I always relish hanging out with my boss! I hope you can say the samething about yours.
A passport is required for Brad to travel to Canada next month when he speaks with Coach Ken at a RE/MAX conference. Anytime you mix the Federal Government (passport request) and the post office, you face a lengthy wait and the height of inefficiency. After lunch, we headed to the post office to submit Brad's passport application. Brad called me from inside to say "I'm number six in line and the line is going nowhere". With that, I headed for the nearest Starbucks in Cameron Village.
