Oh what a 4th...Early July back in 2009..(tune of Oh what a night)

We have had a most awesome 4th with Family and Friends....

Starting out this morning at 8:30...taking food from home over to my mother in laws..

Parade started at 11:00

Cooking ham, boiling potatoes for Potato salad, baked beans, stewed squash and onions, fresh tomatoes from the garden, cucumber and vinegar, barbecue, cantaloupe, blueberry crunch, cake, tea, lemonade...for beginners..

Then...performing with the SeaNotes choral society at 3:00.

Back to the front porch..to watch the entertainment and to dance and sing along.

Fireworks began at 9:00..

It has been such a great day with family and friends.

God Bless you all... and Happy 4th....

Ginger I ate way too much chocolate walnut pie today.  The pie was so sinfully full of chocolate I am sure that I am going to hell for how much I ate!

Ginger,

I do believe this wa one of the best July 4th's I have had in a long time too! Great Food, Family and Friends. Everyone just seemed to have a great time!

Wishing you the best!

Ginger --- sounds like you really had a full day of fun --- we had a quiet day -- I played here in the Rain for awhile and we ended the day with our children and grandchildren which was wonderful. Have a great week.
