Southport ~ Oak Island is still one of the best kept secrets of North Carolina. We have very affordable housing long the Atlantic Ocean and in Southport you will find a sleepy little community of about 4000 folks. This used to be a fishing community in days gone by...but now is just an attractive little town with antique stores, fish markets and excellent restaurants.
If you want a get away place with the Ocean and many golf courses to choose from, THIS IS THE PLACE.
