Art After Hours - July's Spotlight Artist "RL Parker" - Wake Forest, NC

Every month a different artist is featured for "Art After Hours" which is sponsored by The Cotton Company in historic downtown Wake Forest. This month R.L. Parker will featured! R.L. Parker's masterful work will be on display from July 8 - August 3, 2008.

R.L. Parker's digital photography is enhanced with several methods including printing with a technique called "giclee". Absolutely beautiful work!

This month's artist's reception will be help on July 11 from 6pm - 9pm. Enjoy a wine tasting, meet with R.L. Parker, explore The Cotton Company and take a stroll through historic downtown Wake Forest.

Be sure to check out later posts in the week for the Friday Festival at Festival Park in downtown historic Wake Forest! Downtown Wake Forest IS THE place to be on July 11th!

Leesa, I am familiar with the giclee enhancements of digital photography and it makes the prints look like paintings. I bet this is a fascinating event to drop into once a week. You know EVERYTHING about your area. That's why you are so good. The flowers are stunning!!

Leesa, I loved the artwork and wished they showed more under the other artists as well....I am familiar with giclee and it's lovely....if you come across a lotus flower, please let me know!
