Sundays at the Beach -- Wrightsville Beach NC

More than once I've been asked, "What's it like living at the beach year-round?" Usually the question comes from friends or family who only get to the beach once in a while and wonder what we do with ourselves when they aren't around. Seems they think we shut-down and sit around missing them. While they are missed, we're not just sitting around! Nope, we're always up to something here in Southeastern NC. We've got 5 great beaches; Topsail, Surf City, Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach & Kure Beach, within an hour's drive and Downtown Wilmington to keep us busy on those few days of the year when the beach isn't especially enticing.

I'm going to take the next few Sundays to show you our beautiful area through photos; give you an idea of what it's like to live at our Wilmington NC area beaches.
