7th Annual Reef/Sweetwater Pro-Am Surf Fest is in full swing!

What a beautiful evening we had last night in Wrightsville Beach NC. After weeks of sweltering temps and high humidty we've had a reprieve and actually been below normal. I just had to take advantage of the ocean breeze and mild temperatures with a stroll on the beach. I stopped by to watch some of the surfers practicing their skills for the 7th Annual Reef/Sweetwater Pro-Am Surf Fest.

It looked like a storm might be coming in, but nope, we just had some choppy water and a strong breeze. These kids were awesome and I hope to get down there again today to see some of the competition. Don't forget the art and music festival at Wrightsville Beach Park today from 4p ~ 9:30p!
