Help keep Wrightsville Beach NC barefoot friendly
A stroll on the beach shouldn't involve stepping on or around trash left by others, but all too often it does. Cans, plastic bags, cigarette butts, wrappers, dirty diapers, bottles, pizza boxes -- you name it, someone has left it on a beach. Wrightsville Beach NC beach-goers do better than many I've seen and we take great pride in that. Unfortunately, there's always room for improvement.
In its 5th year, The Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project, brings together Barefoot Wines, Surfrider Foundation and local volunteers for a Nationwide tour of 20 beach cleanups and on Saturday, July 23, 2011 they're stopping in Wrightsville Beach NC! Join them on the beach at Stone Street and Causeway from 9a ~ 11a and help keep Wrightsville Beach NC barefoot friendly.
Following the cleanup, volunteers who are 21 and over are invited to Red Dogs in Wrightsville Beach NC for a celebration featuring Barefoot Wines and surf inspired fare. RSVP at BeachRescue2011.com
You love the beach, you know you do! So show it -- take a few hours out of your day this Saturday and help keep Wrightsville Beach NC barefoot friendly!
