Pet Airways coming to Omaha

Omaha has a vital role in pet jets or the new Pet Airways. It is the new plane for pets traveling to New York, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Denver, and Los Angeles. Eventually Pet Airways will serve twenty-five other cities which will include Omaha. The plane landed for the first time at Eppley Airfield on July 15. It will make frequent stops here as Suburban Air Freight is based out of Omaha and the company will maintain and operate the planes.

The airline is for travelers who travel with their pets and prefer to not have their pets travel in the cargo area. Reservations are booked solid for the next two months proving that the traveling public likes the idea. For now travel is limited to dogs and cats. Once established, reservations will be open to more pets.
