A post the other day by Peggy Wester: Thanks I needed that actually came into play for me today. As I arrived at work today, there was a little envelope stuck in my door addressed to me. Already, wondering what adventure awaited me, I became a little excited. As I opened it, I could see it was a Thank You card.
What a nice surprise! I love to thank my buyers for working with me and occasionally receive a thank you card back from them. But, understandably, my buyers go about the business of moving into their new home and their thoughts are filled with moving vans and unpacking. But thankfully, sometimes I receive a card or a note from them that expresses how grateful they are to have worked with me and how much they enjoyed the process of building a new home. What a feeling!
As agents, we do a lot of work that usually receives a verbal "Thank You". But for a buyer to be so thoughtful to take the time to put that in writing makes all the difference in the world.
So Tony and Marla: Thank You for the Thank You. I know that sounds a little silly but you have no idea how much it means to me! You made my week!
