With Valentines Day coming up there are a lot of couples who will be going out on a date in the next 8 days.
Many will choose to see a movie. Like the movie "Dear John".
To accomplish this feat, I am also thinking there are a lot of people who will need to take out a loan.
I recently ordered a bottle of water at a theater and got charged $4. Popcorn was $6 or $8 for a large one, soda was $5 or more. Candy, nachos, hot dogs were even more ridiculous.
The movie was just $6.50 because it was the early session.
I like a date night at a bowling alley or skating rink. Billiards places are fun and offer more games than just pool, like darts or shuffle board.
We have our favorite steak house, Farmer Browns in Waterloo, Ne. You can get prime rib for under $20 and it includes your salad, bread, potatoe, spagetti or green beans, and coffee or tea. Great service and a great deal.
What's your favorite "Date Night" ideas?
