I joined the 80 Dodge Condo project as part of the NPDodge Condo Sales team at the beginning of the year, and being a part of this project has been more exciting then I would have expected joining a sales team could be. The condo market is strong in Omaha NE and with new projects like 80 Dodge, J-Lofts, The River Front, SOMA, Wall Street, and Midtown Crossing changing the landscape of Omaha and following the "Urban Design Element" created by Omaha by Design and adopted by the planning board and city council, Omaha is transforming into a city with many living options with great consideration for green space, preservation, and civic function.
These projects offer a roof-top pool (80 Dodge), river views (The River Front), and 30 story city views (Wall Street), as well as all the amenities that go along with upscale condo projects.
J Lofts, SOMA, and Wall Street among others are adding energy, modernization, and life to downtown Omaha. The urban density these projects are creating for down town is providing the economic demographics for investors needed to help jump start conversation and investment into projects that may not have had a chance in the recent past. One of these projects is the possible development of a Streetcar system that could initially service the Omaha Quest Center, down town and the Old Market, and Creighton University.
Midtown Crossing is a new project, just recently announced, and will include luxury condos and apartments, fine and casual dining, entertainment and shopping. All of this will be nestled into a revitalized Turner Park.

80 Dodge, my favorite project, is the first condo project of its kind in West Omaha. This high energy and high amenity project will offer all the conveniences of maintenance-free condominium living as well as the benefits and value of a superb West Dodge location. 80 Dodge will offer an outdoor terrace level, year-round swimming pool, party/wine tasting room, private fitness facility, concierge service, indoor parking and panoramic views.
No matter which project you prefer or if you don't even understand the appeal of condo living it is easy to see that condos and the people developing them are big part of the positive changes happening in Omaha NE.
