Will it ever end???

I have never been a huge winter fan. In fact, a few years ago I begged my husband to move our family to Florida to live. He denied my request...

Ever since I became a REALTOR though the winters haven't seemed so bad because my mind was focused on something other than the cold harsh winters.

My parents, and my sister's family live down in Florida and call me daily and their favorite question is "How's the weather?" I am sure if any of you New Englander's know anyone who lives in Florida you also hear this question frequently. My standard answer this year has been "It's snowing."

I had been doing so well this year with the seamlessly never-ending forecasts of yet another storm we were about to be hit with. I am sure that I can contibute my "getting through the winter" to the fact that my new house has a garage. It is a huge relief to know that I really don't need to go out in the cold to get to my car, and no one needs to scrape the snow and ice off it anymore!

BUT the other day, I was sitting looking out the window......and it was STILL snowing.

It is only the middle of February and I am already feeling this way??? Oh no....will it ever end?

Hi Kim - We moved to California from Alaska and although I love the weather here I still miss snowy days, especially when you can stay home!  It will end soon and you will see the buds forming on the trees!

Kim- Snow in the Northeast is always great news here in Florida. We seem to get a lot of relocations in April and May. Keep up the good work.

I start to feel the same way here with the rain, but come spring I remember why I love that rain, it makes it so beautiful here and I'm guessing the water that comes from your snow does the same for you come spring. Sorry the groundhog has promised you six more weeks of it though.

I walked outside to 4 degree weather.  This is the worst winter as long as I can rememberl  I can't wait until spring!

Hey my MOM left a comment!!!!  Thanks MOM in Florida... We will be down soon for a nice warm visit.  The kids were talking about it today and they are getting excited!  The snow got WAY WORSE since I wrote this post!!!! Oh MY!  Today I drove to work in a hail storm!!  The kids were dismissed from school at 11:15 because they were concerned about all the weight from snow and sleet on the ROOF!!!  UGH!

I love and miss you MOM!

Hey Karen!!!  Thanks for stopping by and commenting (and complimenting)! I'm glad you enjoyed the newsletter!!!
