Sounds like great fun. We don't get to do much of that in Arizona :-)

Hi. We have snowmobiles out here also. Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Bachelor are popular destinations. We have near record snow levels this year.

Joan, that would be so much fun! We don't get enough snow here though, and what we do get is gone the next day!

Bob & Carolin....how about Sandmobiles? oh, you guys have Dune Buggys right ?

Hi Wayne...I think a lot of us got heavy (and early) snowfall this year! Thanks for stopping by!

Debbie...there is always a Winter Getaway vacation! Check this out!

Joan, That's one thing I've never even tried, it does look like fun though...with a hot drink afterward :)

Joan,
That looks like so much fun.  I've taken a winter vacation because I do hate to be cold but I know my daughter would love the snowmobiling!

Joan

Cool post. Never owned a snowmobile but they are pretty big around Wisconsin.

Sincerely

Tom Braatz

Joan,

It looks like a great area for snowmobiling. When I was growing up we belonged to a snowmobile club and had two snowmobiles. We also had a large field with woods behind our house and every day after school in the winter I would take a snowmobile out (with my best friend on the back) and we would ride the trails behind my house.

It was a lot of fun, however I also had a few very close calls on snowmobiles and one really needs to know the safety rules if they are going to own one.

This blog brought a lot of memories back...thanks!

Jo

Joan, Great post for the snow lovers out there. I prefer to look at the snow from in front of a fire witha drink in my hands rather than play in it.

Joan~ I love to snowmobile.  It's been years, but what a blast. Your blog is wonderful.  The steak ride and poker run sound like a lot of fun too.

Hey Joan -- Let's skip the Public Policy meeting and go snow mobiling.  It looks like a heck of a lot more fun than reading through all those bills!

Joan - I love the snow, but I don't like skiing or snowmobiling.  LOL  Guess I'm a little weird, huh?

Carole...I've actually never tried it. But the hot drink part is right up my alley!

Cynthia...those who are into it are really in to it! But they are a great group of people. She should check it out!

Hi Tom...I can see that they would be big around you also. They also do a lot on the lakes. That's why all the warnings about thin ice!

Hi Jo...I should have known a North of he Border girl would be an old hand at that! I'm afraid I'm a coward!

Ahhh Judy....a woman after my own heart!

Thank you Julie....that particular Club is very active and fun loving.I know a few people who are/were in it!

Hey Joan....can I sit in the clubhouse? I'll watch!

Carol, Carol, Carol....at least I have the decency to hate snow...so I have an excuse!

I've only snowmobiled once, but absolutely loved it.  That it was in Colorado was a plus, but it appears that NH offers an equally scenic and exciting experience!
