You should not bypass having a Home Inspection
A first time home buyer will often resisit spending the money to have a Certified Professional Home Inspector look over the home they are buying. This is a very dangerous thing to do. You are running the risk of missing potentially dangerous defects or very expensive repairs in the home you are wanting to buy, for you and your family to live in. A professional home inspection thats going to only cost a few hundered dollars is not a extravagant expense, when you are considering one of the most expensive investments you and your family will ever make.

HI Dale, an inspection is some of the best money a home buyer will spend when purchasing a home. An inspection can save them thousands of dollars, I never breathe the sigh of relief over a new contract until the inspection is over and the report is in our hands. Have a good week! (ps... Carpenter ants had got-en to it. They had gone after both ends of this one. Was not a good thing at all.
Dale - I know how well those carpenter ants can get. They can do damage in a very short time. That is why I recommend to do a walk-around your property monthly just so that you can catch things like that. When you let it go it can be time consuming and costly to repair or replace. You saw what happene to my pump house. That was a lesson learned.
Ceil keeps saying "I told you so."

Dale - So true first-timers need a home inspection and will often try to save money and not have the inspection, Big mistake. I tell ALL my home buyers to get inspections, even the new constructions. Great advice!

We all have to do our very best to look out for First Time Home Buyer Cilent's. In helpping them in avoiding costly mistakes. As with any Home Buying Cilent. Yes it is also important to have a Inspection of New Construction. Sometime's someone will get into a bit of a rush forget to take care of an item or two. Keep up the fine work of looking out for your Cilent.

Thank you kindly, my friend. Folk's should always have a Home Inspection, on any Home they are going to buy. Even if it's new construction. Sometime's things just get missed.
Dale - Over here in Texas, I think I may have mentioned it in another blog, as of September 1, 2008 if your are building a home you are now required to have a minimum of three phase-inspections according to TRCC if you are living in a rural area.
Are they doing this in your state Dale?

Carl - that sure is a good thing they've done for the fine folk's of Texas. To make it a law that new construction out in the country have to have a minimum of three phase-inspection of the home.
I have to tell ya, my friend. They sure ain't do-en anything like that for the folk's up here. I sure would like to see it happen, for the folk's here.
