The Fort at No.4 Living History Museum September 2010 Events in Charlestown New Hampshire, its a pleaure for those of us at the Fort at No.4 to let you know about the two up coming events. Please come and have some fun visiting us at the Fort at No.4 in Charlestown, New Hampshire over the Labor Day Weekend Saturday the 4th, Sunday the 5th and Monday the 6th of September 2010. I'll actualy be at the Fort at No.4 all week, and it sure will be my pleasure to welcome and show you around the Fort.

Admission to the Fort at No.4 this week and over the Labor Day Weekend is free, any and all donations will be gratefully accepted. We have some mighty fine books about life in the 1700's. Just to name a few, there are several different volumes on the famous Roger's Rangers, The FORT AT NO. 4 1740 TO 1760, New England Captives Carried To Canada Volume 1 and 2, and mant other books to buy for your reading enjoyment.

The Fort at No.4 Living History Museum September 2010 Events in Charlestown New Hampshire, we will be holding a mighty Special Event on Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th of September 2010. The Fort at No.4 will be hostin a Revolutionary War Weekend. This here weekend sure should be a real whirlwind of activities thats going to include: Mock Battles, Cannon Demonstrations, Fire Starting Demonstrations, Cooking Demonstrations, a Corn Husk Doll Workshops and more.

The Colonial and British camps will be open for you to visit. There will be sutlers set up showing off their their wares for you to look over and do a bit of shopping. You'll sure want to check out our bookstore also!!!

The photo below is Cannon fire being done at night. It shows why you do not want to be standing out front of a Cannon even if its only been loaded with powder. You are not able to see the flames come out in day light.

The Fort at No.4 will be open from 10:00 A.M. tell 4:30 P.M. both days of the event.


This is also the first event weekend we will be charging an admission to a Fort at No.4 event.


Admission will be as follow:

Adults $8.00

Youth ages 7 to 12 years $5.00

Children under 7 years of age Free

Seniors 65 years of age and up $5.00
