Durham's annual event will be held Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, Nov. 30, Dec. 1-2 to kick off the holiday season in style. (Tidbit: Durham is the home of the University of New Hampshire.)
The festivities begin Thursday with the Evergreen Crafts Fair held in the University's Memorial Union Building, affectionately call the MUB, with the work of 50 New England artists and craftspeople for sale. The fair runs through Friday.
Friday there is a complimentary wine and cheese party and events continue throughout Durham's Downtown, including Huddleston Hall, where children can visit with Mrs. Santa Claus, participate in a Holiday Story Time with members of the Durham Public Library and enjoy the music of children's performer Wayne from Maine.
Local businesses will also offer discounts on merchandise throughout the weekend and the public is invited to enjoy the Downtown Merchant/UNH sorority and fraternity holiday light competition.
This event will prove to be a fun weekend in Durham, NH. Hope to see you there!!
