 What do market updates mean? Basically this is a snap shot from July 2011 to August 2011 of what the Real Estate market was doing here in Manchester NH. * Currently there are 118 properties for sale in HOOKSETT NH

* There were 21 new listings in August 2011, That is 17 LESS than in July 2011

* There were 15 properties put under contract and 27 placed continegent for a total of 42. in August 2011, That is 4 LESS than than in July 2011


* There were 15 properties that Closed in August 2011, That is 10 LESS than in July 2011


IN SUMMARY We saw a sharp decrease in listings come on the market. Sales actually stayed strong. This has caused the amount of homes on teh market to decrease whoch is good news to sellers. The amount of calls has remained strong for property inquiries. With total inventory actually down, now is a great time to sell before winter. The one trend is a switch to full time and full service Real Estate agents who provide full service as opposed to discount brokers who may provide a discounted type of service. The other good news is we have seen an increase in the banks desire to work with short sales that are done correctly.
