I finally took the time to manage my Twitter Lists. What a defining moment it was, surprisingly. After accumulating 330 followers I decided it was really time to categorize my followers into themes of interest. I only follow people whose posts were of interest to me in the first place, it's not a numbers game. I also only seek out people who tend to fall into certain categories for me.
Here are my categories:
SWNH, finding and communicating with "interesting and valuable" people from southwestern New Hampshire is of great interest to me. I like to know what they do, what they could bring to the table for my buyers and sellers if I needed to reach out for help or other services, and it just broadens my local sphere of influence.
Nationwide Real Estate, this group of people satisfies my need for connecting with people nationally (and actually globally) on anything real estate related. In the future if I ever need to place a real estate referral, these people will be accessible to me for initial review of their online presence and I can quickly locate suitable placement.
Horsey Everything, What can I say...I'm a horse girl!
Moms and Parenting, Yup, that defines me.
Social Media, anyone I find provides a valuable stream of information on Twitter can be placed here
These are my main category labels for my lists. Feel free to follow any of them if you find one valuable to you!
