Explore:   What's happening in your neck of the woods?

The Grass is always greener in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

The Northeast has had it's share of rain, the water bill is way down so far this year, but the lawn mowing schedule...is basically any day it's not pouring I have to mow. One more positive thing the flowers are quite nice this year, and my back yard is very green.

Kayaking is looking good for the summer, lots of water in the Pemigewasset river.

The Flume and Lost River Caves are fun to see when the waterfalls are brimming over.

Loon Mountain Opens up the Tram, horse back riding and the train this weekend.

Other summer Attractions include: Clark's Bear Show, Whales tale Water Park, Hobo Hills Mini Golf, The Dinner Train, and Fireworks on the Fourth of July.

National Forest Hikes...are very popular, a day hike or a through hike on the Appalachian Mountain trail.

It's a nice day for a hike...in the White Mountains.

Beautiful pictures and a nice spin on the benfits of all this rain.  The flumes are a wonderful family trip.  I always enjoy my outings to your neck of the woods!

Awesome scenery Steve.  Thanks for posting to Road Trips.  It's very hot here today and I'm looking forward to getting up to Otter Lake in Northern Ontario this weekend.  My son just bought a kayak.  We live on Lake Ontario so he paddles along the shore and ventures up some of our creeks.  It must be very relaxing.

Steve we have had to adjust our lawn cutting schedules here in Connecticut as well because of the rain, but all this rain sure has brought out beautiful colors in the flowers.

George...We have kayaks and this is one of the true benefits of all this rain, It usually gets pretty bony when the water is down. Right now I could get to the Atlantic Ocean from my Yard.

Steve...NO RAIN, crips grass, no mowing, and it saves on gas.  Hate the look though

Every area has so many places to visit and enjoy we just need to know where to look for the looks like you are the man  for the White Mountain area.

Terry...Thanks About to play in a child care Fund Raiser today, love these events and the community it brings out.

Steve - Great shots and scenery.  Looks like some absolutely beautiful country.

Donne... We have a great little piece of the country to call home, and attractions to bring visitors here as well.
