Event Description:
What could be more fun than sharing a beautiful day with your friends and the Alpiner Oom-Pah Band? It's the 2011 Loon Mountain Oktoberfest. German music, German food, and German beer. There is no charge to enter the event; food and beer is a la carte.

Both days the party kicks off at 11 am when the grills fire up at the Octagon Lodge. Close your eyes and smell the sauerkraut, stew, strudel, bratwurst, and knockwurst.

**Water Balloon Launching Contest all day - Great winter prizes up for grabs!!

Gondola skyrides are available from 9:30 - 5:30. Plus the Adventure Center is open for mountain bike rentals and tours, the climbing wall and the bungee trampoline. You can also experience the trails and foliage on horseback. It's a great weekend.
