Londonderry Celebrates Old Homes Day

Londonderry will be having its 109th Old Home Days Celebration this month starting on Wednesday, August 13th and finishing up onSunday, August 17th. Old Home Days is a Celebration started by Governor Frank Rollins in 1899, as he attempted to bring back family, friends and old neighbors who had left the Granite State or moved to one of New Hampshire's Cities. Londonderry is among a handful of Communities that has worked to keep the Old Home Day tradition alive.

Volunteers work diligently all year to pull together this event. There is a lot of good old fashion fun for all during the Celebration. Events include balloon rides, bounce houses, band playing, a kidz night, fireworks, a road race and much much more.

If you are thinking of moving to Londonderry then this is just another great reason to come to this exceptional Town.
