This here is the 78th Annual League of New Hampshire Craftsmen's Fair which is held rain or shine each year. This here is also the Oldest Craft Fair held in America. The League of New Hampshire Craftsmen's Fair is one of the finest, most prestigious craft events in the country today. This annual nine-day event features both traditional and contemporary fine craft work by juried members of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen.
Craftsmen's Fair Real Estate Recovery Newbury New Hampshire, Like their early colonial forebearers, New Hampshire craftspeople today are keeping the state's heritage of fine craftsmanship alive, by making furniture, metal smithing to glass blowing and pottery making. Helping to keep this here mighty fine tradition alive for the past 77 years is the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen, which is a non-profit arts organization whose mission is to encourage, nurture and promote the creation, use and preservation of fine craft through the inspiration and education of artists and the broader community.
The very first Craftsmen's Fair was held back in 1933 and was held in the Crawford House Barn in Crawford Notch, New Hampshire. The success of the first fair exceeded the expectation of the folks, from its sales which totaled $2,698, which sure was a whole lot of money back in 1933. The folks decided hold this here fair as an annual event. In 1934 the fair was held in the Hancock Town Hall and the Church Vestry. The were also other locations over the next few years. There was the UNH Field House in Durham in 1939, then the Holderness School in Plymouth, New Hampshire in 1940, Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire in 1941.
Craftsmen's Fair Real Estate Recovery Newbury New Hampshire, from 1948 to 1960 it was held in the Belknap Recreation Center in Gilford, then in 1962 it was held at the Brewster Academy which is in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, then the fair was moved to the Mount Sunapee State Park, which is now the Mount Sunapee Resort in Newbury and because of the tremendous growth at that location, it has been keep there ever since.
The Fair always begins on the first Saturday in August and runs for 9 days, 10am-5pm, daily.

Folks are also to buy discounted tickets at the Lake Sunapee Area Chamber of Commerce. The tickets are discounted 10% which makes them $9.00 each, these tickets are available for folks to buy through the 5th of August 2011.
