Portsmouth NH ~ Summer Seacoast Scene in July

The summer months here in Portsmouth and the Seacoast areas of New Hampshire are just glorious! Portsmouth is a working port, so the river and ocean activity kicks into high gear, and the tourists arrive in full force.

I consider myself to be very fortunate to be able to live in such a beautiful place as Portsmouth New Hampshire - a place where people from all over the world come to visit. Their vacation spot is MY HOME! How wonderful is that???

During the month of July, we have all kinds of fun things going on all over Portsmouth and the surrounding towns. With all of our parks and outdoor venues, there's bound to be plenty of great things to do for everyone!

~ July 4 - Prescott Park Arts Festival Mid-Week Concert Series begins, running every Wednesday from 7-9pm, through August 15 - Portsmouth
July 4 - The State Street Rhythm Band

~ July 4 - "An American Celebration" Strawbery Banke - a real old-fashioned 4^th of July celebration with children's parade, games, crafts, music, living history, food & fun. Naturalization Ceremony precedes this celebration - Portsmouth

~ July 5 - Music-by-the-Sea Summer Concert Series kicks off - Odiorne State Park Seacoast Science Center - Rye. Every Thursday evening - 6pm.

~ July 6 to 8 - Tall Ships Visiting Portsmouth - 'The Prince William', 'The Pride of Baltimore', and 'The Spirit of Bermuda'. Tours of the ships all 3 days with tickets. State Pier Downtown Portsmouth.
