You Can't Win them All, But I'm very proud of you son.

I'm just getting over the sunburn I received at the State Finals Track meet at Coe Brown Academy this past weekend and I wouldn't have traded that day for anything.

My Son Conor, qualified for 4 finals: the Triple jump, 100 relay, 200 meter, and the 400 meter relay. He was going into the event with the third best time in the state in the 200 meter and top 5 finishes in all the other events. Plymouth Region high school has no real track to practice on so every event this year was an away meet.

Conor... ended the meet with two 6th place finishes and two top ten finishes. He seemed less than thrilled by the finishes but he has two more years to get better. I reminded him he is still only a sophomore, and many of the other qualifiers were two years older and had better facilities to train on.

Conor, Dad is very proud...you'll get them next year.

Don't be so hard on yourself you did great, and the coach is thrilled to have you for two more years!
