CASA is a national organization of volunteers who advocate in our court system for abused and neglected children all across our country. In New Hampshire alone, 1000 children each year are victims of physical or sexual abuse, neglect or abandonment. CASA volunteers have direct involvement in the courts to help these children find the respite they need. As a volunteer, each CASA Guardian ad Litem (GAL) works only in "the best interest of the child" and the court system appreciates and respects CASA's recommendations.

Of course, the need for resources far exceeds the volunteers and financial capacity available. If you are interested in becoming a CASA GAL, or would like to help in any way please visit http://www.casaforchildren.org/  or in New Hampshire http://www.casanh.org/

I am very proud of the work done by my wife Chris as a CASA GAL and her many CASA associates here in New Hampshire I have come to know and respect over the years. This is truly a worthwhile organization.
