New Hampshire Home Stager, Transforming My New Home - Powder Room
In a recent post, The New Hampshire Home Stager Bait & Switch, I promised to share photos from the transformation of my new home.
In case you missed it: Dining Room, Living Room, Master Bed & Bath, Kitchen, Built-In Bookcases
The Powder Room is one of my favorite transformations in the house. It started out mint green...no mirror...in need of new light fixtures...
Much thought went into the wall finish for the Powder Room. We considered paper, wood, tile, and various flooring materials for the walls. We ultimately chose Venetian Plaster.
If you are not familiar with it, Venetian Plaster is a multi-step painting process using a spatula instead of a brush. It's a smooth finish with the multi-dimensional marbled appearance of plaster.
We used Behr Venetian Plaster from Home Depot. Color: Franciscan (vp23)

The greatest challenge for this room was finding light fixtures....
I needed a ceiling and a vanity fixture. I wanted something unusual, with interesting detail.
Here is the "before & after" of the ceiling light:

I will update with new pics once the finishing touches have been added.
Next up: Grandkids' Room
