Homeowners of New Hampshire - There will be a New Hampshire Home Mortgage Workshop held in Manchester this coming Saturday, Mary 8th, from 9am to noon. This workshop will be held at the Carol Rines Center, located at 1528 Elm Street, Manchester NH.
In an effort to help New Hampshire residents through the current home mortgage environment, US Senator John Sununu and Manchester Mayor Frank Guinta are inviting all interested parties to attend this workshop.
Those attending this workshop will be provided information regarding programs and resources available to New Hampshire residents that have been developed in response to today's home mortgage market and the economic concerns that many have today. There will be housing counselors on hand to address specific concerns or questions NH homeowners may have, and they will be ready to work with you to help determine the best course of action for your individual situation.
This workshop is open to all who want to attend, and there is no charge to attend.
We all have concerns and questions about the mortgage industry situation, and how it impacts each of us. This free workshop is a terrific opportunity to get some first hand information, as well as an opportunity to get some direct specific information and assistance if you need it.

This is a great public service that you are doing for your community. There are too many scams out there preying on even more helpless homeowners.
Hi Bob - great to see you here! I'm hoping word about this workshop gets out to just as many people in NH as possible. I'm sure there are plenty that have questions and need some help but don't know where to turn. I hope this post, or this info, finds its way to them......
Thanks for stopping by and for commenting!

Ann the first link that you provided is not working.
This sounds like a very good seminar to go to and a wise investment of time.
Ann- It is a really great idea for those with mortgage questions to attend a workshop such as this. These can be confusing times and there are so many conflicting messages out there - hopefully this will help set the record straight for those in your area and provide resources to those who are in need of them.
Ann... I think we'll see more of these pop up.... I am planning a few... what lenders will be in attendance?
Hi George - thanks and it's fixed now. I think this will be a very good session for folks to go if they have questions and/or need some help.
Hi Steve - I'm hoping it does all of that and more for those who need it. And I'm glad our state is doing something to help NH residents like this.
Hi Jeff - I think it's great to see workshops like this being done in different places. People who need help don't always know where to go to find it, and sessions like this could be the answer to their prayers.
Many thanks for the comments!

Excellent Article Ann...sadly so many people have fallen victim to this!
Great post. We are starting to do this in our area as well - better late than never. If you get a chance, please post this to the mortgage fraud group. We are trying to centralize a lot of these advisories so agents around the country can et educated and be aware when the scams come to their area. Thanks.
Hi Monika - I hope by writing about thi workshop this Saturday that a lot of people who need help will find their way to that workshop. I wish they'd do them in more than one location, and maybe they will if they get a decent turnout.
Hi Gene - yes, you're right about better late than never. And I hope it helps the people who need help. Thanks for the invite to that group - I'll do that right now.
