I'm so excited!!!! Thank you all for your well wishes! I received phone calls and e-mails from so many Active Rainier's all wishing me well on my first class being held at my new real estate training center.
My class went exceptionally well! I had a terrific turn out and all my comment sheets were excellent!
It was exciting and nerve wracking at the same time. The class I taught was a new class...one I had developed and got approved for continuing education but I had not taught it before...So this was an unveiling of a new class and a new training center!
First time out of the gate with a new class is always a bit stressful. You just never know about the timing until you do it once. My topic was a hard one and while I have a lot of experience on this topic I wanted to make it interesting and different. I agonized over it all week and in between working and training I practiced my presentation...3 hours is a long time to talk and I struggled to create and find the perfect ice breakers and case studies for break outs.
As late as last night I was still adding to my presentation...I am not into lecturing and wanted a very interactive class and I got one!
I swear I felt all of your vibes with me this morning!!!
After class was over Jay gave me a big hug...poor guy sat through my whole class. I was surprised he stayed! He brought his camera but in all the excitement he never took any pictures!
We ended up having a busy day! A very productive one, had a great class, got an offer in on one of our listings then did a CMA and scheduled showings for tomorrow!!!
Then Jay googled "New Hampshire real estate trainer" and guess who came up on the first page??? LOL...Me, thanks to Active Rain!!!

I usually don't try and stay as I probably make you nervous. After everyone was checked in, the class was rolling along so well I was enjoying it so I decided to stay.
I have way over the required hours necessary to renew but your class was very good and it never hurts to sit in and see how good a job you really do. The reviews I read were pretty impressive as I think everyone really enjoyed the class. There was a lot of good interaction and not everyone was itching to leave at 12 noon.
I think if you kept going no one would have noticed.
That's how you can tell you're doing a good job.
