Wentworth Greenhouses, located in Rollinsford New Hampshire has been a family favorite for a few years now. For the past three years, my wife, son, and I travel to the greenhouse and pick several flowers to plant in our front yard. The best part of this tradition has been the day we choose to do this. Instead of going for brunch or dinner like most families, my family chooses to do this on Mothers day. Every May I get to see my wife's eyes light up with enjoyment seeing the wonderful array of flowers and plants to choose from.

This year, Wentworth's has just made me fall in love with them even more. Wentworth Greenhouses recently announced the opening of a Summer Farmers' Market, featuring locally produced vegetables, food products, and select crafts, slated for Tuesdays beginning June 27 through the last week of October.
Tuesday Farmers' Markets will be held from 2-6 p.m. in the Wentworth Greenhouses parking lot at 141 Rollins Road, Rollinsford. Farmers or food producers interested in participating should contact Steve Kokolis, Market Manager, at (603) 743-0923 as soon as possible for an application and guidelines.
A great convenience for me, Wentworth's is on my ride home from the office everyday! I'm tempted to stop almost everyday. They have been gearing up for the busy Spring season in New England and have had many new varieties of plants and shrubs outdoors on a daily basis. The Farmers Market will be a tough one to pass by. I don't think I'll be able to stop myself from visiting every Tuesday.
Hope to see you out there!

What a great tradition for Mother's Day, and a great example to set for your son. It was always very important to me that my son understand the importance of his gifts to me. I didn't want him to grow up and have his wife be responsible for my gifts. (Like I was for my mother-in-law) When I get a gift from him now, I know he chose it himself and that means the world to me.
Thanks Sharon. I believe it 's important also. It's hard to guess which one of us gets the most enjoyment out of the day.
