White Mountain Streams and hikes

Glover Brook with it spectacular series of waterfalls, flows into the Pemigewasett river in Woodstock NH. Elbow pond in the National Forest is the source of this secluded swimming hole. Where at the height of the spring rain has allowed white water kayaking for the adventurous few. Try Fly fishing or a very private dip on a hot day.

The flume gorge is another breath taking brook carving into the rock for eons and creating a natural wonder at the Franconia Notch state park (Lincoln NH). Skilled hikers can have a go at Mount Lafayette, Lincoln, Liberty and Haystack all 4,000 + foot elevation mountains, for the less adventurous Indian head is a nice walk in the woods with a great view for less effort.
