Commercial Properties, Change over time!

I just posted about a Grand Opening of a new Hair Salon in Bayville, NJ called "ROOTS".

Here is a little History about the property at 511 Route 9, Bayville, NJ

Route 9 is the major highway that runs through Bayville. Great exposure for commercial property.

This commercial property is located directly across from the famous Bayville Dinosaur named Dino (of course!)...

For decades, this building was a well known Barber Shop called "Bob's Hair Shack", Sold on 4/25/2001. (The dinosaur has changed throughout the years also)

It was purchased in 2001 by a Physical Therapist, which had a thriving business there...

The Physical Therapist retired in 2004, rented it to a Children's Clothing Boutique business/Consignment Shop, then the tenant closed her business later than year...

The Physical Therapist contacted me to be their listing agent in 2004:

We SOLD the property and CLOSED the sale on March 29, 2005.

The buyers sat on the property for a year and resold it on May 22, 2006. The new buyer opened a Mexican Grocery business...

The property went into foreclosure in 2008 and went on the market at the end of 2008.

Ironically...I had a buyer who needed a small commercial property with highway visability.

My buyer purchased this property on February 12, 2009.

This building has been totally renovated. A new Hair Salon is now opening called "ROOTS". Grand opening is Tuesday, July 7, 2009
