Belmar Pro surfing into town September 10th

Just 8 blocks from Westport At Belmar Townhome Village, at beautiful Belmar Beach, from September 10th through 13th, Belmar will transform into a surfer’s paradise as the The Foster’s Belmar Pro and Fins ASP Jr. Pro surfing competitions surge into town. Though based at 16th Avenue, the Pro’s presence will be felt in every corner of our town and will feature not just surfing, but live music, movies on the beach and other community events.

Thursday 10th September
4pm Camping Registration begins at Eastern Lines
8pm Bonfire & music on the 15th Avenue beach

Friday 11th September
8am Contest begins
5pm Contest ends for the day
5:30pm Patriotic Paddle Out, 15 Avenue beach

8pm Movie on the Beach- Endless Summer II
9pm Party @ Bar A

Saturday 12 September
8am Contest begins
Noon Live music featuring Barry & the Penetraters, Irie Sound, Reform, P-Dub Assassins
5pm Contest ends for the day
7:30pm Movie at the Paramount, Asbury Park
9pm Fosters Party (Columns, Avon)

Sunday 13th September
8am Contest begins
Noon Live music featuring Paul Cilinski and more
2pm Final heat begins

More details on Friday’s party at Bar A: It is rain or shine as it is indoors/outdoors. It features three great bands that are touring with the surfing competition. The bands are, Can’t Hang, Case of the Mondays and Quincy Mumford. There will also be inexpensive drink and beer specials all night ($2 Bud & Bud Lights plus $2.25 Drinks). This is a 21 and over only event starting at 9 pm
