Harbor Safari

The Nature Center of Cape May will be hosting the annual Harbor Safari again this weekend.

Harbor Safari will be this Saturday, May 14th, 2011 starting at 11am.

Take a ride through Cape May Harbor to see up close what is alive in our coastal waters. You will be sure to see horseshoe crabs, marsh grasses and our native shore birds. During this time of year, I am sure you will also see many of the migrating birds that make their bi-annual stop in Cape May. Coincidentally, this even coincides with the World Series of Birding annual event.

There will be a marine biologist from the Nature Center of Cape May as your guide. He will be there to explain what our unique habitat is composed of and why it is so important to keep our ocean waters clean and healthy.

Tickets are available at the Washington Street Mall Information Booth and the Nature Center of Cape May.

The Nature Center of Cape May is located at 1600 Delaware Avenue in Cape May. Or call 609-898-8848.

The cost of admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 3-12.
