Cape May Homes

Cape May HomesCape May isn't just a summertime vacation destination. Many people are proud to call it their permanent residence. Year round you can find entertainment, art shows, go boating, visit the Cape May County Zoo and enjoy the ambient temperatures and beautiful environment by the sea. It's a wonderful place to live and there are many beautiful Cape May Homes available for purchase.

We're still in the prime real estate selling months from May-Sept. when families with children are looking to purchase their Cape May Homes, relocate and get settled in by the time school starts again. It continues to be a buyers market with the home prices low and the interest rates slowly starting to climb again.

While you're looking at real estate you might want to check out Cape May's Designer Show House to get some ideas on design at this  ongoing event. This year is Cape May's 7th Annual Designer Show House: Osprey Landing at Cape May Marine. This $2.2 million four-story luxury townhome with deep-water dockage overlooks the harbor and wetlands and showcases the talents and products of some of the area's best-known designers and vendors. It is open for tours as Cape May's Designer Show House through October 30. Self-guided tours are offered daily from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and guided tours are offered at 7 p.m. every Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday. Each visitor will receive a full-color program book with information about the designers, products and vendors. Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for children (ages 3-12). Free off-street parking. Tours of the Designer Show House can also be combined with luncheon, dinner and Happy Hour packages. Osprey Landing is conveniently located at 109 Rosemans Lane at the end of the Garden State Parkway on Lafayette Street at the entrance to Cape May.
