We're very lucky to be living less than an hour from all the excitement, culture and opportunities of New York City and in a community that has so much to offer us, including hiking in our "back yard"!

Did you know or realize that within steps of the condos at Sutton Woods, in Chatham NJ, the boy scouts recently cleared several paths that wind down to the Passaic River and through the woods. These trails are ideal for:

You can find the trail head on the Summit side of the bridge on Mt Vernon Ave. There is a sign for the main trail or if you get closer to the bridge you can spot a steeper trail with steps that leads down to the river. Whichever you choose to take, you are in for a treat. Right here in your back yard.
