Thank You
We must take time out to thank those who helped us along the way. Today I want to thank all of those who have helped my with my real estate career. I know for sure that I will forget someone. However, remember the 2nd agreement “Don’t Take Anything Personally”.
First ~ I owe a huge debt of gratitude to my real estate instructor. Mr. Donald R. Haven of The Real Estate School in Cherry Hill, NJ. Mr. Haven was the owner and chief instructor of the school when I attended. I spent many nights learning from a master real estate. Anyone who learned from Don also listened to many stories about animal husbandry and dairy farming. Don was also once a dairy farmer and remembers the time when farms lined route 70 in Cherry Hill. I learned the basics from Don. Many things that he taught me, I still use today.
Mr. Don Haven: Thank You.
Before I selected a broker to work for, I interviewed with several brokers and narrowed my selection to two. The losing broker was Mr. Pat Murphy of Cherry Hill, NJ. At that time, I was trying to decide between a brokerage that would pay a 70/30 split vice Pat who was offering 50/50. Pat had a lot to offer. He was in the real estate business for a long time and he also very knowledgeable about investing. When I told Pat that another broker would pay me 70%, he said “yeah but 70% of nothing is nothing”. Pat you were so right.
Mr. Pat Murphy: Thank You.
I went to work for Mr. Chris Spada & Barbara Rosenheim at Exit Realty of Cherry Hill. I was a brand new agent. I didn’t know diddly squat about how to complete a real estate deal. Our training director Mr. Robert Rosenheim led us through a series of classes including personality profiles. I learned about people, contracts, inspections, appraisals, prospecting and farming. You name it, I learned it. Mr. Robert Hudgins also taught me all that he knew about door knocking.
Mr. Chris Spada, Mr. Robert Hudgins, Mr. Robert Rosenheim & Ms. Barbara Rosenheim: Thank You.
During the first day of training, a clean dude with a shaved head walked into the classroom carrying a huge bottle of water. He looked like he was chiseled from stone; muscles everywhere. Then there was a soft side. A smile and hello to everyone he passed. A pound or a firm handshake for the guys. When he got to me, he introduced himself……..Jonathan Palmore. I didn’t know who this guy was and I had no clue that we would end up joined at the hip. Jonathan has become more than a friend and real estate partner. Jonathan has become family. He is my brother that I can ALWAYS count on. Jonathan and I have had many ups and downs in our lives since the day of our first meeting. There was a time when we spoke every morning just to say….”brother, I want you to have a good day. Keep your head up and keep moving”.
Mr. Jonathan Palmore: Thank You ~ “You Know How We Do!”
I then went to work for Mr. Larry Walker of Exit Realty of Burlington. Working with Larry, I had FUN. I felt as if I had come home to work for family. Larry taught me the value of your reputation. Larry was always available to listen and dispense sage advice. I learn countless lessons from the “sit-downs” that I had with Larry. Larry was known as a professional and a nice guy. Larry had many repeat clients. When I grow up, I want to be just like Larry.
Mr. Larry Walker: Thank You.
I then went to work for Keller Williams in Cherry Hill. My team leader was Mr. Dan Magee. Keller Williams was a great place to work. The office was top notch. The staff was top notch. The training was top notch. Dan was a fair and compassionate boss. I learned the basics of being Millionaire Real Estate Agent during Dan’s book club meetings. I learned the history of Cherry Hill and how to find clients.
Mr. Dan Magee: Thank You.
While working at Keller Williams, I was introduced Mr. David Bigley. David is a unique gentleman and my Christian brother. He has worked in a variety of careers and is a very successful real estate broker-agent. David acted as the Realtor when my wife and I purchased our new home. He volunteered to personally train in Keller Williams' Camp 4:4:3 program. We spent many nights talking about real estate and life. The lessons he taught me were invaluable.
Mr. David Bigley: Thank You
Finally, I would like to thank Mrs. Judy Moriarty of Atlantic & Pacific Real Estate . Sometimes it takes a great woman to see potential in a great man. Judy saw my potential and offered me one of the greatest opportunities in my real estate career. Without her seeing something in me, I would not be moving to this next level. Judy, I expect big things. Together, we are going to change the world!
Mrs. Judy Moriarty: Thank You.
