The Garden State is green? Like energy efficient? So many out-of-state residents tease me with isn't New Jersey (a) a toxic dump or (b) a dumping ground for hitmen victims?
Colts Neck, New Jersey is a rural community where builders and developers are embracing the latest "green" technology.
Our state goal is to reduce greenhouse gases by 20% by 2020. I'm thinking some technocrat came up with that slogan because he likes the alliteration of numbers.
Why not 30% by 3030? Oh yeah, we'll all be dead by then. (The other operational goal is to increase use of renewable energy by 30%.)
