Emerson, New Jersey Local Information

The town of Emerson in the Pascack Valley section of Bergen County, New Jersey is undergoing an extreme makeover.  The re-deveopment of the downtown area is under way with businesses along the main road of Kinderkamack Road being slated to become a more pedestrian friendly shopping experience in keeping with the town's small-town appeal.  The Stone Ledge Senior Housing complex on Kinderkamack Road just South of Ackerman Road, is well under way and looking like it will be finished in the not so distant future. 

A new Building for the Emerson Pharmacy is also in the early construction phase on the corner of Kinderkamack and Ackerman Road where Dino's Shoe Repair once stood before moving to it's current location on Linwood Avenue.

This is an exciting time for the town and although the plans have not been completely finished, the progress can be seen when driving down Kinderkamack Road.
