West Essex Regional School District Celebrates 50 Years!

This year the West Essex Regional School District is celebrating 50 years and has planned a few ways to kickoff its 50 year celebration on Saturday, May 21, 2011!

• The West Essex Foundation for Education is holding "Trotting for Technology", a 5K run/walk to help fund the purchase of education equipment for the West Essex Regional School District. This run/walk will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will start at the West Essex Regional High School and continue through North Caldwell. If interested in running/walking, you can register the morning of the event. Registration fee is $30.00. If running/walking isn't your thing, but eating is......

• You can join the West Essex community for the West Essex 50th Anniversary Pancake Breakfast fundraiser, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., in the West Essex Regional High School. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children and seniors. Face painting will be available for children. Runners/walker will receivie a complimentary breakfast.

• The West Essex 50th year celebration will end with an interactive visual display for the West Essex Hall of Distinction inside the main entrance of the West Essex Regional High School at 11:15 a.m.

The West Essex Regional School District, ranked #4 TOP HIGH SCHOOL IN ESSEX COUNTY, NJ, located in North Caldwell is comprised of four towns Essex Fells, Fairifeld, North Caldwell and Roseland.
