Buying a WOW home – 115 Timberwick Road, Lopatcong NJ 08886 has been SOLD

On Thursday, September 1, my happy buyer Suzan Leake closed on 115 Timberwick Road; sale price was $500,000. A 5 bedroom Colonial home for sale in the Grande at Scotts Mountain (Stewartsville) section of Lopatcong NJ 08886, Suzan looked at many lovely homes before selecting this.


Relocating to New Jersey from Tennessee, Suzan contacted me on June 4 through one of my Zillow ads. Her requirements were fairly specific but with prospects in several counties in which I have expertise. The first weekend we met, we spent all day Saturday and Sunday seeing homes with me providing Suzan an education on the different areas. A grueling 2 days but I had a much better idea of what she might like. That enabled me to preview homes and make great use of Susan’s limited time in NJ to go house hunting. The right lot for her dogs was very important, as was what we called the “wow factor.”


After previewing 115 Timberwick Road in Warren County’s Stewartsville section, my feedback to Suzan was that this was a “double wow” home. She and her daughter, Ashley, fully agreed when they saw it. Although several new-construction houses were contenders, the home in the Grande at Scotts Mountain was the one!

To help Suzan pull together a great team, I recommended several local lawyers and was delighted Suzan selected Attorney Maureen McCabe, 908-387-8949. My all-time favorite home inspector, Dave Stewart of Expert Home Inspections, 973-271-7234, did a fabulous job indentifying a couple issues that needed to be addressed. My septic guru, Michael Imbergamo of Tri County Septic, Port Murray NJ, 908-689-9088, also helped get us to the closing table.


Just shy of 2 months after reaching out to me, Suzan is now the proud owner of a double wow home. And I’m delighted that she is my new neighbor – and friend!
