Mahwah better known as "Bergen County's Parkland" hosts several State and County Parks and Reservations, on almost 5,000 acres of county and state parkland, offering hiking, skiing, snowboarding, biking, archery, swimming and fishing, along with many municipal recreational facilities utilized by our residents for football, soccer, softball, baseball, lacrosse, bocce, skating, tennis, basketball, swimming, nature walks and bike paths.

As the largest municipality in Bergen County, Mahwah has more open space than any other town in Bergen County.
