Manalapan NJ Township, Leaf Collection Fall 2011...

"Let's Talk Manalapan NJ!"

The Manalapan Township Department of Public Works is continuing with their expanded leaf collection this autumn.

Leaves will be collected on November 7, 14, 21, 28 and December 5, 12, 19, and 27.

All leaves must be placed in biodegradable bags and placed at the curb (not on the street) on the first day of each collection to make sure that the bags get picked up. Twigs, grass, brush, weeds or other debris should not be placed in the biodegradable bags. Any bags with that material inside will not be picked up.

The biodegradable bags can be purchased at the Department of Public Works during the week (Mondays through Fridays) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The bags come in bundles of 5 and cost $2 a bundle. The bags can also be purchased at local retailers.

For more information, please call the Manalapan Township Department of Public Works at (732) 446-8403.
