Reception and Auction Benefiting Plainfield’s Camp Discovery

A reception and auction benefiting Plainfield's Camp Discovery will be held Saturday, May 15^th, 2010 (Doors open at 6:15 PM). The benefit is the undertaking of the United Plainfield Community Development Corporation, a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit Plainfield, New Jersey based organization. The proceeds from this auction will help fund Camp Discovery, a daytime summer camp where Plainfield area youth will have a safe, healthy and exciting camp experience.

Some of the wonderful items up for auction to benefit Camp Discovery include: a stay at a vacation home in Maine, resort vacations, car service, gift certificates, sporting event tickets, collectibles, dinners and services to name a few.

The Camp Discovery event will be hosted by the United Church of Christ, located at 220 West Seventh Street in Plainfield (parking is available at the rear of the church off Madison Avenue and at the rear of United Family & Children's Services, accross the street at Madison and 7th Street). Admission is $10/person and includes wine, cheeses and light desserts.
