It's that time of year again! Spring has arrived and Peter Cottontail a/ka/ the "Easter Bunny" is certainly hopping in and around Essex County, New Jersey.

• Calandra's Italian Village Welcomes the Easter Bunny! Families are invited to visit with the Easter Bunny in Caldwell at Calandra's Italian Village on Saturday, April 16^th and Sunday, April 17^th from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. AND 2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Photos with the Easter Bunny are available for purchase.

• Bring your own basket and hunt for Easter eggs at the Montclair at the Israel Crane Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday, April 16^th from 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. This FREE event is located at The Israel Crane House, Montclair Historical Society, 108 Orange Road in Montclair. No reservations needed but remember to bring your own basket.

• Children 7 and under can meet the Easter Bunny, go on an Easter egg hunt, do arts and crafts and more at The Edgemont Park Shelter House on Valley Road in Montclair on Saturday, April 16^th from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Activities are FREE but photos with the Easter Bunny are $3.

• Junior Woman's Club of Verona's Easter Bunny Brunch is Saturday, April 16^th from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at the Verona High School Cafeteria, 151 Fairview Avenue in Verona. Come and enjoy bagels, donuts, muffins, juice and coffee or tea while your children do a craft, and don't forget your camera to take a photo with the Easter Bunny! The cost for Easter Bunny Brunch in Verona is $5 per person.

• Photos with the Easter Bunny at Willowbrook Mall is an annual Easter tradition! Now through April 23^rd the Easter Bunny will be taking photos Monday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Prices vary per photo package. (Passaic County)

• All Aboard!!! Chug-a-Chug-a-ChooChoo! The Easter Bunny Train Ride along the Morristown & Erie Railway's Whippanong Trail departs every hour, on the hour from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16^th, Sunday, April 17^th and Saturday, April 23^rd. The cost for this 45 minute round trip Easter Bunny train ride is $8 for children under 13; adults $13 and babies/toddlers on parent's lap ride free. Advance tickets are recommended. (Morris County)

• Join the fun-filledEaster chocolate making workshop at The Geyer Family YMCA, 159 Glenridge Avenue in Montclair on Thursday, April 21^st from 4:30 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. The cost is $25 for member families and $35 for non-member families. Call 973-783-7640 for more information.

• The South Orange Maplewood Bicycle Coalition (SOMbike) is hosting a fun, family Eggmazing Race Spring Scavenger Hunt on April 23^rd. Visit: SOMbike for more information.

• Enjoy lunch with the Easter Bunny in Caldwell at Rose Mediterranean, 435 Bloomfield Avenue on Saturday, April 23^rd from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

• Easter Egg Hunt in Bloomfield's Brookdale Park on Saturday, April 23^rd from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. This FREE event is sponsored by Skyline Community Church and children can meet and greet the Easter Bunny, play games, get their faces painted, dance and more!

• Essex County's Branch Brook Park Roller Skating Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 23^rd at the Branch Brook Park Roller Rink, 7^th and Clifton Avenue in Newark from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Enjoy skating and photos with the Easter Bunny and don't forget to bring your basket for the Easter Egg Hunt! Cost is $6 per child; $7 per skating adult and $3.50 skate rental.
