Discount Brokers and why the big F bit the dust.

I am always amazed at how people new to real estate forget past history. Maybe it is true that those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it. Think of all those sellers potentially caught in a downward market and their agent (that means the broker/ company) refusing to release their listings. As the legal debate grows over whether a bankruptcy terminates a listing agreement (agency relationship) the sellers watch the indecision impact the marketing of their homes.

With your permission I will use that quote. There is a new book out called Animal Instincts or something like that. I hear it speaks of the driving forces of all markets being animal instincts. Real Estate is one of the most emotional business' we can work in. Money, home, family,competition, stress, commitment,sleeping and the place where we go to most every night.
