How to Host a Pascack Valley Thanksgiving by a Busy Realtor
Here it is, one week prior to Thanksgiving, and I was just informed that I will be doing Thanksgiving. After momentary panic, since I am very busy with work, I realized that there must be a creative approach to enjoying family and food without getting crazy. So I called my family members, and we are now having a community Thanksgiving at my home. I will supply the turkey and salmon, (and roasted brussel sprouts), and the rest of the meal will be a group effort. Who said that creativity only applies to a Real Estate transaction?
I keep reading about the doom and gloom in the papers. You would think that the papers would try to "get into the holiday spirit " and take a respit from trashing the real estate market. After all, "tis the season to be jolly". Are Realtors exempt?
Maybe we should each adopt one of these "respected" Newscasters, and have a heart to heart talk with them about reality versus sensationalism. Perhaps Realtors should stop advertising in the media which is attempting to undermine our honorable profession.
Enough Ranting..I wish my fellow Active Rain bloggers a very Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving.
Your Pascack Valley Realtor,
Susan Laskin
