Holidays in the Pascack Valley

The beauty of Thanksgiving is gone, and the Holiday Season is upon us in the the Pascack Valley. Decorations abound, and homes are decorated with beautiful lights and wreaths.

Today, at sundown, the festive Holiday of Chanukah has begun. Families are lighting candles , singing songs, and the aroma of hot latkes (potato pancakes) is in the air. For eight days, the candles will be lit at sundown, increasing in number until all eight candles glow with the beauty of the Holiday.

I wish all a sweet and festive Chanukah, and a joyous Holiday Season.
