Rush you through a discussion and have you sign papers that may not have been explained to you.

Explain every detail of the many forms a homeowner must sign in order to list their home for sale. I'll also explain commission structures, forms of agency, what to do when your home is shown, among other details. By the time we've closed on your sale, you'll be amazed by how much you've learned about selling real estate the right way!

Push to get your house on the market as fast as possible.

Get your house on the market only after I'm sure your house is "showcase ready." I'll walk through your home room by room, giving you tips and checklists on what to improve to get maximum buyer interest.

Put your house on a local Multiple Listing Service

Your buyer may be checking out several websites, not just the Multiple Listing Service that services your area. Call me directly at 201-240-8699 for more info!

Just reproduce the MLS handout as a "highlight sheet" for your house.

A feature booklet with staged color photographs of your home and school /area details will be professionally produced.

Run a Broker's open house and hope agents remember to attend.

My office conducts weekly Broker's tours of our company listings where I get direct feedback from each agent about its appearance and price opinion and share this information with you immediately!.

Throw an open house for the public, and hope that nosy neighbors aren't the only visitors.

Open houses are publicized on various popular sites and newspaper venues. A broadcast email to over 5,000 Realtors in the area will also be dispatched prior to the open house.

Once you're listed, contact you occasionally, if at all.

You'll hear from me as often as you dictate is comfortable. I typically contact my clients 1-2 times a week, either by phone or email, or both. Weekly, I'll provide a marketing update, covering feedback from agents and their clients who have seen your home. Plus, you are informed of what I've been doing to get your house sold.
