Why some real estate agents ruin it for the rest

Did you ever wonder why some people equate real estate agents to "USED CAR SALESMEN" and refer to them as slimy, scummy or call them snakes? BECAUSE A SMALL MAJORITY OF THEM ARE!

It's true! and then ruin it for the other 95% of the agents that are hard working honest people, what are some of the things these agents do well lets see I will put them in a list of no particular order:

1. THEY LIE TO THEIR CLIENTS

2. THEY LIE TO THE OTHER AGENTS JUST TO SQUEEZE A COUPLE OF MORE DOLLARS OUT OF THEM

3. THEY DON'T SHOW UP ON TIME OR THEY JUST DON'T SHOW UP!

4. THEY DON'T DISCLOSE EVERYTHING THEY KNOW ABOUT A PARTICLUAR PROPERTY OR AREA

5. THEY DON'T RETURN PHONE CALLS

6. THEY REFUSE TO SHOW PROPERTIES THAT ARE NOT THEIR LISTINGS

7. THEY BLOCK OTHER AGENTS FROM SHOWING THEIR LISTINGS

8. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR CLIENTS INFORMATION JUST TO MAKE THEM THEIR CLIENT

The list gos on and on, the reason why I am venting about this is I just has a scenario where I was working with a certain agent in Clifton where as we had negotiated a verbal agreement on a Friday evening faxed over all the necessary paperwork the next day and by Monday I was told there was other offers on the table and my clients DID NOT get the home, This is why Real Estate agents get a bad name.

Maybe I'm just upset that my client lost the deal, I lost nothing because they are still buying a home from me but it is upsetting to know there are agents out there that are not as good as the words that come out of their mouth,
