This home had a lot of action at Broker's Open House. Not only did Agents show up, but so did their clients. It was wonderful to see so much energy and interest in this home on that day. This home was in need of a lot TLC and it got it. The homeowner took the advice of the listing agent and had it painted, cleaned and staged. After the house sold I spoke to the owner and he was just thrilled about the results. They had their closing this past week and they are moving on. A special thanks to Active Rain member and listing agent Maria Rini of Re/Max Real Estate Limited for encouraging the homeowner to stage his property.

Barbara~ Congratulations! You did a great job. It really helps when the Realtor, Stager and Seller are on the same page. When they have Broker opens there, so they actually invite the general public too? Or do they strongly encourage agents to bring their clients also? I think it is a great idea.
Vickie, Usually at Brokers Open House it is for Agents, but I think because this house showed so well and was priced correctly these Agents did not even want to wait for the public open house. They knew it was going to go fast, and it did.

Congrats, nice home. I had one close today was on the market for 13 days begining to end did't stage it. I am wondering if I could have done it quicker if i would have staged it.
Gary, the possibilities are endless with staging. Just when you think a house looks pretty good, just call in a GOOD PROFESSIONAL STAGER and you will be shocked at how they can make it look even better. Staging increases the marketability of a home.
